Shannon Bowers Maternity Shoot

When your baby sister asks to have her maternity shoot done with your company… The first reaction is to tell her to kick rocks and take camera phones photos.  In this case she told mom on us and we had to oblige to the tattletale’s request.

Shannon wanted to do an intimate shoot but left everything else up to us.  With the time of year being winter with no snow to speak of yet, outside was neither aesthetically appealing nor was it advisable to have a pregnant woman in her last trimester outside.  We decided on an in home shoot for ease and a warmer, more intimate mindset for our subject.  She was on it immediately and really exuded maternal compassion and care for her baby.

We shot in four locations total, three indoors and even got outside for another.  Now because it was our sister we did lock her out temporarily after the outdoor portion.  We got her safely back inside before her lips turned blue though 🙂.
