MIT AdMIT Day

The reward for a job well done is rarely a compliment and a pat on the back – Ity is being trusted with more work. Such is the case with MIT and the opportunity that came along to work with their admissions department for their AdMIT Day!

This opportunity is uniquely special because it marks a point in our journey because we were trusted with another department’s request; completely separate from the relationships we’ve forged within the MIT family. The MIT Sloan School of Management asked us to cover their admitted students’ welcome to the school; while they had not made their decision to attend, they were amongst a very small group of individuals who were accepted to one of the nation’s most prestigious institutions.

For this day we had to shoot differently than we are accustomed to but it certainly stretched our capacity. Because it was more of a corporate event the colors and way we shot had to be less artistic and more functional – meaning, we switched to more of a natural color palette while making the colors pop with contrast and texture. It was a welcome challenge that we believe we rose to!
