From Camera Phone Clicks to Cover Shots: My Photo of Rhonda Vetere Lands on Hollywood Magazine
Well, would you look at that—my photo of the illustrious, unstoppable, trailblazing Rhonda Vetere has officially graced the COVER of Hollywood Magazine’s July 2025 edition. That’s right, the cover. As in, the first thing people see when they’re casually flipping through celebrity glossies while waiting for their oat milk latte.
To say this is a huge honor would be an understatement (but I’m trying to play it cool). Rhonda—true to her generous, powerhouse self—has always championed my work, long before glossy covers were even a glimmer in my lens. She’s been my hype squad, mentor, and occasional lighting assistant (okay, that last part might be a stretch). But truly, she has always believed in getting my work out there—and this? This is out there. Front and center. In print.
What makes this even more surreal is knowing that it all began with a humble camera phone and a slightly obsessive need to capture “cool angles” for fun. No fancy studio, no thousand-dollar gear—just curiosity, passion, and a fair bit caffeine.
This cover marks the biggest milestone yet in my journey as a photographer, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you, Rhonda, for your unwavering support—and to Hollywood Magazine, for the honor. I’m still processing it all, but I’ll allow myself a happy dance (privately… probably).
Here’s to chasing light, capturing legends, and never underestimating where a camera phone and a dream can take you.
